Previously, Asif was a founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of a full service asset management firm in Canada, a vertically integrated asset management company which raised in excess of $350 million in the Canadian marketplace. The firm through its wholly owned Portfolio Management and Investment Banking subsidiary managed Canadian and International Equity Funds, Canadian and International Fixed Income Funds as well as a number of GP LP structures. The firm invested in over 60 private and public companies. In full disclosure of its history, amid the global financial crisis in 2008 the regulatory body identified some compliance deficiencies within the firm. As Chief Executive Officer, Asif swiftly implemented measures to rectify the deficiencies to the regulator’s satisfaction, and thereafter, entered into a mutually agreed upon settlement with them. The firm was successfully sold in 2011 to take advantage of the exit opportunity. Before this, he was a Senior Vice President and founding partner at StrategicNova Funds Management, where he helped grow assets from $5 million to $4.2 billion, and Vice President of Middle East Markets at Goodman & Company Investment Counsel.
Asif is a pioneer of Shariah Compliant investing in Canada, launching the first publicly available Shariah Compliant investment fund in 1998. He continues to advise on Shariah Compliant structures and transactions and is currently an advisory board member of BMG Group and a strategic shareholder in numerous private companies.

Dr. Aljazy is the Managing Partner of Aljazy & Co. (Advocates & Legal Consultants) which is a leading Jordanian law firm. He is an International Business Lawyer and has extensive experience in corporate transactions and arbitration law, as well as international transactions including but not limited to; hotels developments; intellectual property; construction disputes; energy, shipping and maritime issues; competition and antitrust matters.
Dr. Aljazy holds a PhD in International Commercial Arbitration Law from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the United Kingdom (1999), on MA in International and Comparative Business Law from London Guildhall University (1994) and a BA in Law from the University of Jordan (1992).
He has participated in the drafting of various Jordanian laws and regulations in conformity with the international conventions that Jordan has ratified including but not limited to Maritime Law and Companies Law. He is a listed arbitrator with many prominent arbitral institutes worldwide, and he is a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration.
Dr. Aljazy published various articles in several reputable journals and periodicals on different arbitration topics, including but not limited to: arbitration in Jordan, enforcement of arbitral awards, investment arbitration, arbitration is Islam and harmonization of the Arab Arbitration Laws.
Dr. Aljazy was appointed by Jordan as member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) at The Hague. Also, in 2014 he was elected as the President of the Jordanian Arbitrators’ Association. Dr. Aljazy has received Eisenhower Fellowship in its Single Region Program for the year 2005. Dr. Aljazy is currently the President of Eisenhower Fellowship in Jordan, And the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Amman Arab University.
Dr. Aljazy was also a member of the Jordanian Royal Committee to Modernize Political System in 2021. His Majesty King Abdullah II commended his efforts and contribution to the committee, as Dr. Aljazy was awarded the Centenary Medallion of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Additionally, Dr. Aljazy was a member of the National Dialogue Committee in 2011, engaged in political reforms and a number of constitutional amendments.
In 2022 His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain awarded Dr. Aljazy the Order of Merit (Officer Cross) for his tremendous efforts in enhancing the Jordanian Spanish ties at all aspects. In 2022 Dr. Aljazy participated in multi workshops that were conducted under the Royal Patronage that generated the Jordan Economic Vision of 2033.
Mr. Jong started his career at RBC Dominion Securities (the investment dealer arm of the RBC Royal Bank of Canada) in 1987, and shortly thereafter joined Altamira Management Inc. (one of the investment arms of Manulife Financial) in 1992. Eventually, Mr. Jong directly managed over $4.5 billion in both institutional (pension funds, endowment funds, and immunization of insurance portfolios) and retail fixed income mandates (mutual funds and insurance seg funds) and was part of a team of managers who managed approximately $20 billion in fixed income assets. In addition to managing bonds, Mr. Jong headed the currency group at Altamira, and headed the bond repo departments for both Altamira and Manulife.
During his tenure at Altamira from 1992 to 2003, Mr. Jong received numerous industry performance awards; the API Performance Achievement Award, and the COMSTAT Performance Achievement Award for specialty mandates under his direct management for multiple time periods. After his departure from Altamira, Mr. Jong had co-founded a boutique asset management firm, Majorica Asset Management, and through changes in ownership, Mr. Jong remained as co-Founder and principal managing partner, directing an investment team, and managing all the operations of the corporation.

Peter Rizakos is an establish senior executive with over three-decades of experience in financial services and other industries as legal counsel and other senior executive management roles.
In 1993, after practicing with Blakes, one of Canada’s pre-eminent law firms, Mr. Rizakos established the legal department and was a member of the senior management team at Altamira Investment Services Inc. Altamira was a leading independent asset management firm consisting of mutual fund, institutional and private equity assets and a staff of 250 people across Canada. Mr. Rizakos was also a member of the transaction team in the successful sale of Altamira to the National Bank of Canada in 2002.
